BoostCalc

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BoostCalc ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit boostcalc.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not collect or store the figures you type into the calculator. However, this Site is supported by third-party advertising (Google AdSense), and those services may use cookies and collect data to show and measure ads. Details are below.

Information we collect ourselves

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

We may also use analytics tools in the future; if we do, we will update this policy accordingly.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information:

California residents (CCPA / CPRA) — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the use of advertising cookies that enable cross-context behavioral advertising can be treated as a "share."

How to opt out of personalized advertising on BoostCalc (free, takes ~1 minute):

  1. Visit Google Ads Settings and turn off "Ad Personalization." This applies to all Google ads, including those served on this Site.
  2. Visit aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance) to opt out of additional third-party vendors that may serve ads through AdSense.
  3. Enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser; California recognizes GPC as a valid opt-out request.

To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct personal information, or to submit any other CPRA request, email contact@boostcalc.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law. We do not sell personal information for money. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CPRA right.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

BoostCalc is operated for a US audience. We do not currently target advertising to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If meaningful traffic from these regions occurs in the future, we will deploy a consent management platform (CMP) that complies with Google's EU user consent policy and the IAB TCF v2.2 framework before personalized advertising is enabled for those regions. Until that CMP is in place, users in those regions may experience non-personalized ads or no ads. Residents of those regions may always exercise their rights of access, deletion, rectification, and objection by emailing contact@boostcalc.com.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect any information we handle, but no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure. We retain contact messages only as long as needed to respond.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
